ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
established 1967
|
The Economic Development Commission is a committee composed of town officials and citizens to further the efforts of economic development in the Town of Exeter.
Goals include strengthening the town's existing tax base with more robust retail/business uses and supporting redeveloped parcels which are key to continued town vitality and quality of life.
The EDC will continue to support projects that offer to increase our non-residential tax base while following the tenets of the Town Master Plan.
The Commission members are appointed by the Board of Selectmen. Members serve staggered terms, as provided by RSA 162-G:15-a.
The Commission was initially organized by Town Meeting, March 1967.
The Commission meets the second Tuesday of each month at 8:15AM at the Exeter Town Office.
Those wishing to attend an Economic Development Commission meeting can contact the Town Manager's Office at 778-0591, x102.
