Thanksgiving Holiday Town of Exeter employees will be observing the Thanksgiving Day Holiday on Thursday, November 26 & Friday November 27, 2009. All town offices will be closed. Trash/recycle pick-up for Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday will on schedule. Thursday pick-up will be Friday, Friday pick-up will be Saturday.

PLANNING BOARD
The Exeter Planning Board is entrusted with the task of encouraging and directing appropriate land use in the Town of Exeter. The Board uses the Exeter Master Plan as a guide in making decisions as it serves as the blueprint for growth and development of the town. The Board is composed of citizen volunteers appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
The Board generally meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00PM in the Nowak Room of the Town Office building. The Planning Board can be reached through the Planning & Building Department which is open Monday thru Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM and can be reached at 603-773-6112.
Seven member board, including a Selectman serving a term concurrent with the elected term of office, and five alternates. Three year appointments made by the Board of Selectmen as provided by RSA 673:5 III.
