Labor Day Holiday
Town of Exeter employees will be observing the Labor Day Holiday on Monday, September 6, 2010. All town offices will be closed. Trash/recycle pick-up will be one day late all week. For more information call the Public Works Dept. at 773-6157.
PLANNING BOARD
The Exeter Planning Board is entrusted with the task of encouraging and directing appropriate land use in the Town of Exeter. The Board uses the Exeter Master Plan as a guide in making decisions as it serves as the blueprint for growth and development of the town. The Board consists of seven members, including a Selectman serving a term concurrent with the elected term of office, and five alternates. Three year appointments made by the Board of Selectmen as provided by RSA 673:5 III.
The Board usually meets every second and fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00PM in the Nowak Room of the Town Office. You can call the Planning & Building Dept. at 773-6112 for Planning Board related inquiries. The Planning & Building Dept. is open Monday thru Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
