•State Law (RSA 466:1) requires that every owner or keeper of dog 4 months old or older shall annually, on or before April 30, cause it to be licensed.
•Required: Current Rabies Certificate showing Tag # and expiration date.
•Registrants must show ID and documentation of neutering or spaying.
•Penalty of $1 each month that dog is not licensed after June 1, plus a Civil Forfeiture Fine of $25.
•Unaltered dog: $10.00
•Spayed/Neutered Dog: $7.50
•Owner over 65 years of age: (first dog) $3.00
•Residents are also reminded of the leash law ordinance and other Animal Control ordinances for the Town of Exeter.
