Dan Healy was born and raised in Exeter, NH.  He graduated from Exeter High School in 1986.In June 1990, he entered the Navy. Dan was deployed in the Alfa Platoon in the Middle East. Senior Chief Healy was aboard an MH-47 Chinook helicopter that was shot down near Asadabad in the eastern province of Kunar, Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. This monument and sign is located at the Daniel R. Healy Memorial Pool at 4 Hampton Road.
